How to Score Your Own Games
Use individual game scoring in the 6-8 Mobile App to track an athlete's stats.
Individual game scoring lets a parent or friend score an athlete's game in the 6-8 Mobile App. The stats are saved in the athlete profile, so you can track progress over time and see strengths and weaknesses in the 6-8 graphs.
Before you start: an athlete profile. Scoring your own games is free for one athlete, with no limit.
- Tap Games at the bottom of the app.
- Tap Score a game.
- Enter the basic game information and create the game.
- As the game goes on, enter the game actions (stats) for your athlete and move between quarters.
Need help? Watch the individual game scoring tutorial. For what each stat means, see the 6-8 game stat definitions page.
6-8 Tip: Games you score in the app are unofficial. Game Desk games are official when an official 6-8 partner or affiliate, or a scorer trained by 6-8, scored them. See What Are Official and Unofficial Stats?
