How to Edit or Delete a Game You Scored
Fix stats in a game you scored in the app, during the game or after it, and delete a game you no longer want.
You can fix stats in a game you scored yourself in the 6-8 Mobile App, during the game and after it. Games from the 6-8 Game Desk, verified accounts such as USA Water Polo (USAWP), or other scorers are read only. See How to Edit Stats From an Event, Tournament or League Game.
During the game:
- When you finish a quarter, tap the small number on the far right of the screen, next to the score, to go to the next quarter.
- A summary of the quarter you just scored appears.
- Edit or delete any stats in that summary.
After the game:
- Tap Games at the bottom of the 6-8 Mobile App and open the game.
- Tap ... in the top right corner, then Edit Stats.
- On Edit game, choose the quarter. Tap a stat's time to change the game clock, the pencil to change the stat, or the trash can to delete it.
- Tap the back arrow when you are done. The game now shows Edited.
Changed something by mistake? Tap Undo on Edit game to reverse your last change.
To delete a game you don't want in your profile:
- Tap Games at the bottom of the 6-8 Mobile App.
- Swipe the game left and tap Delete.
- Tap Delete again to confirm. The game's stats are removed from the athletes in it.
You can also open the game, tap ... in the top right corner, then Delete. Only games you scored in the app yourself can be deleted.
6-8 Tip: Edit Stats and Delete only show in the ... menu of games you scored yourself. Other games show Share, Highlights and Add to folder.
