What Is the 6-8 Dashboard?
A ranking of athletes by age group and position, built from game stats and 6-8 Challenge results.
The 6-8 Dashboard looks at an athlete's past game performance and 6-8 Challenge results to show where they stand worldwide and their chances of success in college and beyond.
It gives each athlete three scores. The Athleticism Rating and the Performance Rating (called Production on some Dashboard pages) each run from 1 to 10. The 6-8 Power Rating, also called the 6-8 Power Score, adds the two together, on a scale of 1 to 20. Rankings compare an athlete with all other players in their age group and position.
Free to view. Anyone can view the 6-8 Dashboard and its leaderboards for free. Click View next to an athlete to open their Public Profile.
Two profiles. Each athlete has a Public Profile, the page anyone opens with View, and a College Profile for college coaches, which opens only from the family's coach link and is never public. The family chooses what each one shows in Edit my College Profile.
Why 6-8 built it: after eight years of 6-8 Challenge and game data from tens of thousands of athletes, 6-8 launched the sport's first athlete leaderboard based on that data. It is modeled after the NFL Combine power rating system. The goal is objective, position-specific data on athletes around the world, in one place.
