Game Times and Time Zones

Schedule games in your own local time. Game lists show times in Pacific time (PT), with a My time switch.

When you schedule a game, the 6-8 Game Desk reads the time you pick in your device's local time zone and saves it in UTC. Game lists then show it in Pacific time (PT): the Upcoming tab of the 6-8 Game Desk and 6-8 Scores both say Times in: PT | My time. Tap My time to see times in your own time zone.

How to schedule a game

  1. Tap + New game.
  2. Choose the Light Team and the Dark Team.
  3. Under Scheduling Preferences, choose Schedule game.
  4. Tap Date, pick the day and tap Done.
  5. Turn on Time, pick the start time in your local time and tap Done. The picker doesn't show a time zone.
  6. To show the game on 6-8 Scores before it starts, turn on Public Sharing under Sharing Options.
  7. Tap New Game at the top right. The game shows in the Upcoming tab.
