What Is the 6-8 Training Academy?
A full-time, semester-based training program in Fountain Valley, California, with Olympic coaches.
The 6-8 Academy is a semester-based, full-time high performance training program. Athletes train with Olympic coaches and professional athletes on technical skill, tactical IQ, physical performance and mental strength.

| Semesters | Fall (September to December), Winter/Spring (January to May) and Summer (June to July), with limited places each semester. Every athlete commits to at least one full semester |
| Applications open | Fall: in March. Winter/Spring: in September. Summer: always on January 5. Summer gets more than 100 applications: Tony and Maggie review them through the end of February and send acceptances the first week of March |
| Ages | Fall and Winter/Spring: ages 11 to 20. Summer: advanced high school athletes only. Gap year options for post-high school athletes and 8th graders |
| Who it's for | High school students, gap year athletes and youth players. Groups are divided by gender and age |
| Schedule | Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM: gym first, then seminars, video or VR, then pool training |
| Weekly focus | Monday, Wednesday and Friday: conditioning, mobility and strength. Tuesday and Thursday: mental training, VR, tactical seminars and video analysis |
| Housing | Overnight and commuter options. Shared apartments at Los Cab Sports Village, 2 to 3 athletes per room, with a chaperone on site 24/7 |
| Meals | Lunch and dinner 5 days a week from a private chef. Commuters can join the meal plan |
| Tuition | Commuter: $3,200 a month. On-site: $4,800 a month ($3,200 tuition plus $1,600 room and board). Medical insurance is required, and local club team fees are paid to the club |
